I really hope you take that road trip this summer. Share pictures using the hashtag: #TheArtofUnpredictability so we can feature you on our website or reach out to you.
Today’s challenges go one step farther.
Today, I want to teach you how to bypass silly policies when you're trying to be Unpredictable. I'm talking about when you need to use the bathroom and you don't feel like buying anything. Or when you want that extra bit of chicken in your burrito.
Just ask. You have no proof that someone will say "no" until they actually say it. Just ask politely for what you want and see how often people will try to make it work for you.
Speak in a foreign accent. This throws off Americans. They treat foreign people very differently - you can take advantage of that. For example, a lot of businesses won't let you use their bathroom unless you buy something. When we were filming exotic cars all over LA, we couldn't buy 500 cups of coffee just to go pee. Rolling into a store with our (admittedly terrible) British accent, we simply asked: "Can I use your washroom?" and we were given the key without question.
Get people off their script. Make the most of the moment everyone else tries to forget.
